Nothing pokes a hole in your Christmas Spirit more than canceling your holiday spectacular. We worked really hard to put a solid and exciting show together, but Jack Frost was not cooperating. The decision was not made lightly and was made in partnership with our venue, The Panic Bar. The safety of our performers (especially our out of town guests) and our audience was our top priority and will always be most important. But man oh man...it sucked not being able to show you everything we had planned. Sadly, due to the timing of calendars, we are unable to reschedule to another night, but that's ok. Life happens and we are all alive, happy, and healthy!
BUT...I've decided to not let that frosty asshole to get me down! I will be crashing Karaoke night at the Panic Bar THIS THURSDAY (12/22/26) at 9:00pm. I'll sing 3 of the live songs I had prepared for you from Homo for the Holiday and hope that it helps us all get back into the Christmas spirit. It's a FREE night, so come on down and sing some songs with me! I'll be all dolled up and in one of my new dresses.

Cherubs!!! I am super happy to announce that Mrs Yuka Layme & Amanda Lynn will be hitting the road! We will be ending 2016 the way it begin... BACK IN CHICAGO! That's right, we will be performing as part of the house cast for TWO amazing shows at UPTOWN UNDERGROUND. This is one of the most amazing venues I have ever performed in! I am so honored to be asked to perform again with some of Chicago's premier Burlesque & Variety entertainers! Let's help raise some money for an amazing organization! One of my dear Cherubs Laura Davies raises money every year for the Alzheimer's Association with her family by creating a haunted attraction called CREEPING TOWARDS A CURE. If you are looking for something to do Halloween night, check them out! They have a fundraiser goal of $5000 and I'd love if we could help their family meet it! I have personally been affected by this horrible disease on several sides of my family.
If you already have plans...don't fret...you can still help! Laura is a bartender at THE PANIC BAR here in Lincoln. She has pleaged to donate 100% of her tips to the Alzheimer's Association. As an ADDED BONUS... the owner of the PANIC has decided to match 100% of all of her tips for this amazing cause! This means that you can unwind with an adult beverage AND help out an amazing cause!

(Panic is 21+ so adults only at the bar, but all ages at the event!)

It looks like 2016 will be ending with a BANG as we have booked some exciting travel opportunities! Our first announcement is a special day trip out of state to Sioux City, IA. We are THRILLED to have been asked to perform in Devin Shakers' Holiday Spectacular on Saturday 12/10/16 at JONES STREET STATION.
You may remember Devin as one of our special guest performers from MYK Presents: QUEEN SEEKING as well as MYK Presents: HERE FOR THE BOO's. We have had such an amazing time performing with him, that we are SUPER excited to check out his home turf! He will also be joining us in for MYK Presents: HOMO FOR THE HOLIDAYS later that month.
